I started playing drums and studying music at 10 years old and have been playing professionally since 2010.

My teaching style is adapted to each student but centers around:

  • basic music theory and concepts

  • proper drum set technique

  • developing a practice routine

  • improvisation techniques

  • exercises designed to help you discover your own sound on the drums!

I have studied with drummers such as Thomas Pridgen, Dave Elitch, Billy Rymer, Jim White, and Jeff Hamilton.

I specialize in teaching Jazz, Metal, Rock, Indie/Altenative, and improvised music. I look forward to helping you along your music journey!
